A beautiful and rare pair of antique sterling silver Moroccan cuff bracelets with red cabochon and enamel. These bracelets are more than 100 years old, with spectacular handmade designs and niello. While the enamel has worn in some places, there are still areas where the yellow and green enamel highlights the red cabochon gem.
The bracelets fasten with a chain connected to a rod that slips through the closure, allowing the bracelets to unhinge to be put on. These are quite small, but open to fit a petite adult easily.
This is very old work from Zagora in the south of Morocco. They test for high grade silver. Show some age and wear at welds, but in very good condition overall.
All sales on Silver Sahara benefit native artisans and help to ensure continuation of traditional craft techniques.
