These unique Moroccan Fibulae come from a family in Mohamed's hometown of Amazraou. The style is specific to the Drawi tribes from this region of Morocco. The Moroccan silver fibulae are from the 1900s, and are completely handmade, with carefully cut and shaped silver metal forming a teardrop shape with a coral bead in the middle, and long chains with glass beads and hammered metal rounds that make a lovely tinkling sound with every movement.

Moroccan Fibulae are brooches used to attach the headscarf to clothing. In Berber (Amazigh) culture, the indigenous culture of Morocco, the larger and more valuable the brooch, the higher the standing of the woman in the tribe.
