This authentic antique Tuareg pink Angel Skin coral necklace features 16 large real coral beads, with two big round sterling silver beads at the side, smaller silver beads and fixtures, and a large sterling silver pendant.
More than 100 years old this pink coral, also known as Angel Skin coral, is extremely unusual to find in its raw form. The large silver pendant on this Tuareg necklace is hand-engraved in a large sun/star design, with a silver spike in the center. This unusual necklace comes from the small desert town of Zagora, Morocco, sourced directly from the original owner's Tuareg descendants.
The Tuareg originate from Mali, Algeria and Libya, but after travelling the Sahara Desert, a small group settled in the southern Moroccan Zagora province. Silver Sahara sources all our Tuareg items directly from descendants of the original settlers, ensuring that fair prices are paid.
