Very heavy silver and mixed metal spiked bracelets from the Ait Atta tribe of indigenous Moroccan Berbers known as the Amazigh. Twelve triangular-shaped points radiate from a central band. Worn in pairs, the bracelets reflect the desired physical qualities of strength and endurance, and were also used as weapons throughout history, notably in the French-Moroccan War of the mid-1800s.
Very shiny with high silver content. Each bracelet weighs 290g. The bracelet opening is 6cm.
