This charming hand-carved Moroccan bowl was once used as the family soup bowl and is still fully functional as well as an impressive piece of tribal art. From the southern Moroccan desert town of Zagora, the bowl has hand-forged metal alligators, traditional tattoo designs one would see on a Berber woman, and antique coins. The bowl is painstakingly carved from ebony and rimmed with ornate etched metal and hand-placed metal beading.
