The perfect place to put your treasures! This Moroccan Berber jewelry chest was found deep in the souks of Marrakesh, Morocco. More than 20 years old, it was handmade in Marrakesh using repurposed bone, with silver melange rivets and traditional Berber tribal designs, as well as repousse metal. It is fully lined in green felt.
This style of dowry trunk, called a sandok, would originally be filled with jewelry, then presented by a husband to his future wife.
