This gorgeous Algerian Berber rug is hand-loomed from 100% sheep's wool and pearl cotton fibers. Berber use them in multi purposes on floor, hang them on wall as art or put on sofa. The quality is exceptional -- a super tight weave with expertly executed design.

These Berber rugs hail from the heart of Algeria in a city called Ghardaia, also known as the "Pearl of Oasis". The indigenous people are Berber, aka “M’ZAB”. In 1982, the city of Ghardaia was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List as a cultural property. Berber rugs have a long story from their ancestors they inherited this noble art from their ancestors. It was and still is the main source of incomes for many families.
