This incredible Moroccan Berber bracelet is a very exciting and unusual find. Huge and heavy, deeply engraved with crosshatching and tribal designs. A few areas of this bracelet tested for high silver content (.800+), but most seems to be .500 or less.
Bracelets of this size and stature would have been worn by very high level members of Moroccan tribal society, like the Kaid's (tribal chief of a certain area) wife. The bracelet is at least 80 years old, likely more. It was discovered in the High Atlas mountain town of Imlil, Morocco. A stunning example of Moroccan tribal artistry!
