This incredible Moroccan Tribal bracelet is a very exciting and unusual find. Huge and heavy, deeply engraved with crosshatching and tribal designs. A few areas of this bracelet tested for high silver content (.800+), but most seems to be .500 or less.
Bracelets of this size and stature would have been worn on the upper arm by very high level members of Moroccan and North African tribal society, like the Kaid's (tribal chief of a certain area) wife. The bracelet was discovered in the High Atlas mountain town of Imlil, Morocco, but it is likely Bedouin, brought up by Tuareg from the Sahara. A stunning example of tribal artistry!
