Vintage Morocco Islamic Inscribed Hand Hammered Pure Red Copper Vase Fez
This shiny red copper Moroccan vase is specially reserved for Eid celebrations. Delicately hammered, the vase has a stippled effect, with raised Arabic repousse lettering. The vase has five distinct parts that have been permanently welded, with a ribbed brass collar for contrast. A thick and sturdy copper, this has aged remarkably well, with only a few small indentations. Although unearthed in southern Morocco, this item is likely from the famous copper markets in Fes and is at least 50 years old. The rich pure copper color is very appealing. Weighs 8.2oz.
